20’x8’x8’6” Customized Container Server Room
The ability to process, store and safely use computing power, is of utmost importance in today’s data intensive world. The ability to do this in remote and environmentally challenging locations, has proven it’s self invaluable to this company who will be able to set up capabilities normally reserved for an expensive fixed structure. Designed by the customer, perfected by K&K International; this modified 20′ container has been insulated with spray foam insulation, walls paneled with easy to clean FRP paneling, and the floor modified with recessed uni-strut to allow customer to mount heavy equipment to the floor.
The unit will also be spending some time on the open seas, so a watertight door was installed to keep the highly valuable equipment secure and dry inside. The HVAC unit was recessed in the nose of the container to keep it’s original footprint and extend the life of the unit.
